Our Maintenance Services
As well as installing new gate automation systems, we also provide a maintenance service for all automatic gate systems – even the ones we did not install.
Any mechanical machine wil require some form of maintenance to keep it operating efficiently.
When electrical and mechanical equipment are as exposed to the elements as much as gate automation is, it will certainly require periodic maintenance to keep it running smoothly and safely.
A well maintained gate automation system will provide you with many years of trouble free service.
In our own installations we only use the the highest quality equipment to avoid problems, and servicing and maintaining the equipment properly will protect your investment.
Repair Services
Many customers and automation installation companies do not recognise the need for maintenance.
These systems are installed and forgotten about – and if they were correctly installed at the start, they will probably operate reliably for several years before the first signs of trouble.
Have you ever noticed how many automated gates are left open?
These systems may never have received any maintenance until it was too late and a serious (and expensive failure occured) .
Many customers find that they can not contact the original installer (phone numbers may have changed or they have gone out of business) when they need them most – when the gates won’t open!
Fear not. We can come to the rescue. We carry out repairs to all gate automation systems – regardless of the make, model or who installed it.
If you find yourself stuck inside or outside your gates – give us a call and if we can’t talk you through it over the phone, we will be there as quickly as possible.

What are the mos common faults in Electric Gate systems?
No mains electricity supply – maybe a trip for the power to the gate is off and no-one has noticed. If it has tripped off there is very likely an electrical fault – so it is safer to call us for advice before you do anything further If the automatic gates will not close – check to see if the sensors on the pillars are working. You can do this simply by waving hour hand across in front of the sensors one at a time. You should hear a feint click as you do, or look for a little red light going on a off – if not then give us a call.
Gates close over but open again immediately as soon as they reach the closed position. Watch to see if they over close. If they do, then they may be “breaking the beam” by passing in front of the sensors on the pillars (only applicable to swing gates) If this is the case, then the centre stop may be missing.
